I don't know why people think just because an artist used ghostwriters means they don't write themselves or didn't write for other people as well. Music is a business

Drake wrote for other people, Kanye wrote for people, Snoop wrote for people
Yea it’s not like she didn’t have hits after Big died. And she prolly had help with those. But I always felt like Kim constructed the majority of her verses

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
A lot of times, especially lately, if someone comes up with a suggestion once or twice then suddenly they're a full blown ghost writer who was key to the whole track.

Diddy had money and connections that could get some of the best rappers to ghost write his shyt.

Not to mention he had Big (until he died), Ma$e, Jadakiss, and Black Rob under his own umbrella.

Kim was even more of a constructed concept and image than Biggie's Big Poppa Frank White persona.

She was this raunchy ride or die sexpot with a dirty mouth who talks taboo. She was there for the look, the attitude, and because she pretty much served that role in Biggie's life.

I'm not buying she ever served as an actual writer.

Also, considering how long he's been in the industry, Diddy does not really have a large body of work. How many fukking ghost writers does he need?

Run-DMC had a song that LL Cool J wrote for them... Beastie Boys had a song Run-DMC wrote for them...

Ice Cube wrote for Eazy... Del wrote certain shyt for Cube (1st album)

Foxy had songs written by Jay and Nas, but also wrote her own...

Kane wrote songs for Biz and Shante... they also wrote their own...

Treach and Apache wrote shyt for Latifah, but she also wrote her own...

etc... etc...

Someone writing for you doesn't mean you're totally inept and incapable of writing your own or writing for others. In fact, I always remember people saying Kim was writing at first but she rapped like Buckshot :russ: BIG didn't want her to rap like that so he formed the way he wanted her to rap and her image.
