Yeah that's kind of a shame, I feel like artists should retire from performing at a certain point once they stop putting out new music.

Not really a good look to be middle-aged performing 25 year old songs, but I guess bills gotta get paid :yeshrug:
thats hardly fair. roger waters is basically a corpse and people still pay top dollar to hear him do an album he put out in 1979

this audience sucked. why even pay to go if you dont care?

If the crowd wasn't there (off the porch, in the mix, when the record dropped) then they can't get hype like we would.

Saw Badu tryna perform a pop up at a HS caf and it was saddening. YNs had no idea what they were hearing sitting still and some lightweight clowing. Could have been Diana Ross for all they knew.

Bottom line, nostalgia for these new niqqas is Chief Keef. Migos. Lil Wayne: to them is like Kurtis Blow was to me in 84.. except Kurtis Blow was only a few years before. Prime Wayne is damn near 20 years ago.

The 90s is thirty fukcing years ago. That's like Fats Domino performing for me and my niqqas in 1995.

Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger 80+ doing stadiums.
Hip hop, for the most part, doesn't care for legends.

I’d be curious to see more clips from this performance. That’s not her song and it’s more “rap” than her anthems and hits. Gotta imagine the crowd would react to her hits because that’s what they are there for right?
