Flip was a solid emcee in his era.

People shytting on the Leprechaun album cover with him dressed like Lucky Charms but that shyt was jamming everywhere in my neck of the woods in the summer/fall of 2000.

"I Can Do That" was a regional hit and that album catapulted flipped into that deal with Columbia Records.

That's when he started dropping commercial hits like Game Over, Sunshine, etc.

In my opinion, his sound got a little too commercial and he got away from the freestyling and slowed down music in favor for more commercial friendly radio shyt.

He eventually went back independent and nobody cared anymore by that point and his time had kinda passed. He should have stayed true to himself similar to how Z-Ro, Slim Thug, Devin the Dude, and others did.

The gaudy jewelry and shyt has always been a characteristic of his style and others of the region.
