I'm not a "jail breh"the unique thing is I went and did my time as a kid, and I did a total of 5 years, and that time came young...
In the standpoint of, during the period I did my time, I was pushing the same way I pushed outside, you could say I was built for jail but those days have long gone
What I will say is that having that education at a young age shaped me...
I don't think Durk is g and I also don't think he's p*ssy. But I can only speak for my own life. My club days were my 20-21 robbing days, going to the club to rob nikkas. My education thru life, I've exchanged words with guys that didn't end in anything, nothing happened, it's nothing to really discuss...
I've had two hits placed on me, once in prison, once on the streets, I've discussed both situations before. I've seen nikkas kill who ain't killers, seen killers call other killers p*ssy, been around a number of guys who the general public would deem as tough guys, and I don't...
It's just an interpretation thing. I don't have a particularly unique story, other than my redemption arc I believe, which I'm still about 9-10 years from realizing in fruition. Most guys with my history don't become what I've become in my life, but my actual "resume"; a run as a successful mid-level dealer; a robbery run; a shooter run; a guy who while doing my time was active the same way I was outside; those characteristics apply to plenty of guys outside...
I never got the blessing being saved from the streets thru a unique artistic talent in my early 20s the way Durk did, like most don't, so I either had to save myself or become statistic. Most guys don't get the artist pass. So my perceptions are also colored by coming from it and saving myself, so I can't imagine having his blessings and throwing it all away at the end...

But I am a big durkio fan......like @ISO said I guess his moms wrote a book telling her story.....
I know OG durk(his father) was a legit kingpin who got knocked with like 10ms or some crazy shyt.....
and they from the birthplace of this gang shyt.....and live and die by it clearly....both his parents were pioneers of it and somebodies....
this isn't some lil Wayne type of situation.....
like I said im not from that.....but like......he's literally a product OF it as corny as it sounds.
like I fukk with the Chicago drill scene from that era and they were kids rapping like grown men. like literally debuted at 15 not no 20-21. and they was all dying getting banned from the city all sorts of crazy shyt....
and it wasn't just rap the bodies were dropping....and these guys rich AF now.....there was a meme of durkios mugshots and there was like 30 of them
so its just wild to hear someone try to say they aint G.
I'm not hyping this shyt at all we more or less the same age...I'm just calling for what it is.....

He's simply not a nikka I consider a gangsta and he doesn't move like a nikka who was really drilling before he became Durk the celebrity...
I'm not questioning how he was raised or where he comes from, in that sense we the same. I'm from Sacramento's gangland. My mom and bio pops are from Oak Park Bloods. My mom and her brother the only Damus on her side, rest of her family from Garden Blocc Crips, which later roped in two of my brothers...
I'm from all the North Sacramento Damu territories. I've still never met my bio father, who is still in prison in Washington state until 2028 or '27...
I understand being part of some shyt, it's generational and in this sense it's relatable thing...

been around alot of people who have perpetuated alot of violence. I can't even begin to tell you how many of them nikkas are marks ...Last thing I'll say is we always have a choice, ALWAYS. When I was 20, during my last few months in prison, I really looked up to this guy about ten years older than me, who told me, paraphrasing, nikkas always have a choice. Just because a nikka don't take advantage of his opportunities, doesn't mean he didn't have that route presented to him...
That stuck with me, because up to 20 years old I thought I didn't have a choice, either. Grew up vagrant, bunch of bullshyt. And as I continued aging what I realized was as a child, you not only don't control the hands you're dealt, you also repeat what you've seen around you. You don't know any better...
So I'm not talking about children and we ain't talking about child Durk. We talking about a 32-year old full grown man who has been probably a Top 10 rapper in the genre for at least a half-decade (so we're going back to 27 now), and who has been a known public figure for probably 5 years before that (going back to 22 or so). We not talking about a kid here...
This is a grown man who's been given outs and couldn't shake himself free. As a grown man he's had his chances, and to again be bluntly honest he's had more opportunity to leave his shyt behind than Nobody BD from the trenches who never had the routes to buy his way outta his dumb shyt...
If I was Durk's boy, I would pleaded him with him not to do this. it's not like they killed his Mom and he was ready to die for that. Once they deconflicted all the agencies involved here, Beverly Hills PD, LAPD, FBI, this was easy to put together. High profile beef with a famous rapper. Cars on camera. Even with fake plates. They can track those cars and pull the phone data from all the phones at a specific gas station. They can pull the google data. They sort through until they find the right ones. Surviving witnesses. I know that area really well, like stayed in hotels, had dinner at the SLS, shopped at the Beverly Center, you don't do this there.

Durk knew death or prison was his ultimate fate. He rapped about it all the time.
I'm not saying anything different really, but rapping about that, and feeling like that, in the moment, aren't the same as actually pushing that button. Like Pac and Big rapped like that and they felt like that too, but that wasn't all they felt. You can look at that pic of Durk and see going to jail forever wasn't the ONLY things he expected from life.
Robberies and gun charges, sure, but massacring someone on S. Beverly Drive or whatever is something different. Planning that shot and calling that shot. We don't know how it went down for sure, but right up to the moments before he could have called it all off.
Meh. He shoot at a nikka in 2019 and been gang banging/sending hits since forever.
