Exactly. People don't understand who Jimmy Henchman is/was. Especially in the 90s in NY. Jimmy Henchman was THE guy back then. Stretch and Maj was street nikkas but that was WAAAAY above their pay grade. They didn't even have money to go to war with Henchman. You gotta have money to hide family members, move out of town, hire legit shooters (not regular around the way goons with pistols, legit shooters). They wasn't built like that or set up to go to war with Henchman. If Pac or anyone thinks they were, they were bugging.
It's hard to explain how scared to death nikkas in NY was of Henchman in the 90s. The mere thought of Live Squad going to war with Henchman is laughable. They was holding Pac down and was his boys, sure, but they would just be signing a death sentence going to war with Jimmy. Especially when they was broke. Henchman had waaaaaay more money, strength, power and reach than all them nikkas put together including Pac.

i was in NY at the time , in and out of town for number of shows and meetings as my pops was a editor at rap.pages at the time , i was young but he was meetin wit plenty of heads who was more notorious then both jack and jimmy , ..wasnt no 1 worried about 1 daaamn Jimmy henchman in NY ..he didnt hold weight like that akross all the boroughs..some of yall is actually readin to many artikles

It's not about if someone can get hit, anyone can get it. You can hire some bushwacker nikka to shoot anybody. It's about repercussions of hitting a nikka like Henchman. Unless you got the money to get low and move your family, you're assed out. ESPECIALLY back in his heyday.

Yeah it does seem henchman had a good amount of nikkas from newyork scared or wary about him….. The only other names I hear that stuck as much fear or more fear in cats were nikkas like preacher , Ron du , n a few more but as far as in the hiphop world on the east it seems henchman wasn’t to be played with ….
