Meh, it’s like ppl just want him out the paint now. It’s a trend fans are fickle af these days. Once that social media hate train gets going it’s hard to stop.
The truth is breh oversaturated himself he been putting in straight work since 2017 and he done switched his style up a few times in that time period. He truly worked on his craft.
Baby along with Durk carried hip hop in the pandemic years now nikkas wanna hate all crazy and shyt. He dropped a grip of dope tapes and at least 3 dope albums with My Turn arguably being a modern day classic. His flow is a lil stale and he doesn’t have much to talk about outside rags to riches street shyt.

Basically. He’s as generic as they come. When he first popped up, he at least had a bit of standout production, but post-pandemic, all his music is his a blur, and he’s not enough a standout rapper to pull that production up.
Yeah he makes cool rock out shyt. That’s where I got ‘em. The critiques of him seem odd tho… like what are folks expecting to get from him? There’s like 10 other nikkas I can say have the same feel… but they don’t get the shyt he does.

The collab album with Dirk was nowhere near expectations.
Then It’s Only Me was supposed to be his Vol. 2/Confessions superstar album. It was nowhere near expectations and had no hits. “Hey” is legit one of the worst singles of the last 10 years.
And he kept dropping singles that just didn’t have “it.” The sale of QC destroyed the A&R structure he had.
He’s clearly lost his hunger for rap. Shame because he was my Spotify most listened to rapper the last 3 years or so.
