Did you hear the song on Trey songz album

he’s :trash:
He has some misses but he’s a good artist .

Honestly he’s a clout chaser sometimes he want that’s cross over success so bad .

When he stays in his pocket he’s great .

davido come from family in government money and Nigeria is in turmoil right now.

It's the reason why I've never fukked with Davido, you don't touch politics in Africa without having dirt on you. I just see him as a rich kid that splurges on features to buy a career. he's not nearly as good as Burna or Wizkid. just a plant.
Government money? Explain more. I only know farming then warehouses then refining and shipping. Of course you need government contacts in whatever you do big, wherever you do it. But has he got concessions? Bought government companies or what do you mean?

And I’m pretty sure Davidos rise to fame was not based on features, those seem forced by his (global) label.

Also he’s been one of the main famous forces in the Nigerian protests from the streets to the offices of the government.

I never got the thing about having people because their parents are rich, I only judge people.

Song is undoubtedly trash, their chemistry was non-existent and Lil Baby’s verse didn’t fit the overall vibe of the song.

Surprised so many here think Davido is trash though. He does come from (dirty) money but his music has consistently been fire and I personally think the album he dropped last year is a classic :yeshrug:

Out of all the mainstream Nigerian artists that have come out this decade, Burna was head and shoulders above majority of them.Others like Boj, Santi etc are just below him,I can't understand why they haven't attained continental fame yet. A good number of these Afrobeat cats are saved by their beats to be honest, while this is happening the opposite is happening in dancehall, where good flows and vocal deliveries are wasted by sub-par production. Davido is mostly saved by his production.

This kind of helps understand the "no more features" statement. The song is a miss but I ain't mad at baby for looking for a crossover bag. I just saw 42 Dugg has a song with Marshmello, everybody does it at some point. Especially now with no touring, gotta get ya money somehow.

And let's be real "under fire" just means a bunch people hating on social media. This won't effect him negatively in real life at all
