this didn't work. it clashes.

I'm not even sure this was the beat Baby was rapping to when he recorded his verse.
the start of Baby on autopilot has begun too.

Heatmakerz did a few choir beats better than this for Jim lately in a style that Baby would've been better suited too.

This shyt is kinda bad. Blaze's beats are so predictable now.

ever since he moved into the live instrumentation lane he's been hit or miss for me. overproduced and loud.
really started when I didn't like those overly dramatic and long Game and Nas songs and that boring Saigon album.

The beat is good but feels like something I heard ten years ago. To be completely honest, the song would’ve been better with just Kirk Franklin, cause Lil Baby sounded like he was underwater the entire time. This beat wasn’t for him.

LeBron a terrible A&R lol….

The song ain’t bad but the mixing is terrible and honestly I think Roddy Ricch would’ve been a much better fit than Lil Baby but that’s just me.

So you wanted one whiny sing-songy rapper to replace another :gucci::pachaha:??

The beat is fine for him . It’s literally the mixing .
Now , in terms of the concept/objective for the track I’m not sure , if the beat is best for that . As others have mentioned , Just has seemingly hit a weird space . He’s very hit or miss these days .

lmao that beat is trash, sound like something an amateur made on fruity loops

this is how you a know nikka, heatmakers were never own just blaze level, the drums ain't never hit as hard

but they had some good beats, this ain't one of them

to say its better, smh, just pure heat, card board box sounding drums and 3rd grade chops lmao

I still have a weird feeling some of the new beats we’re hearing from him are older, and not actually new.

No evidence. No insider info. Just a gut feeling.

We're getting our annual Just Blaze beat early this year. He might even fukk around a produce another track later this year.
:mjlol:

I remember last October he was acting like he was gonna drop that Griselda EP he produced “any day”

I can’t believe I lived to see the day where one of my top 3 personal favorite all time producers sounds stale and repetitive here.

10 years ago I’d argue to the death with anyone that Just was as good as anyone on the planet.

This here reminds me of a more generic and less inspired Lord Knows or Why You Hate The Game
