I remember when this series status in the west was uncertain

Like a Dragon launching on series X and having the rest of the series on gamepass was probably a pretty good boost. That was how I got into the series and ended up playing everything and judgment. I bought Like a Dragon and the Judgment games but played everything else on gamepass
