"Correcting sun damage", huh?

Wasn't that the same excuse given by Charlemagne's dermatologist?

Perhaps in her own mind, her complexion wasn't perfect :mjpls:
"correcting" my ass. Some people have naturally uneven skintone that aint got nothing to do with sunburn. More like deleting what was there naturally.

For example, my face is about 2 shades darker than my body. It has been this way since I was like 12. Most women are shocked when they see how light my hands are cause of the complexion of my face. I noticed that some of the people on my father's side of the fam are like that too.

now If you dont mind me, I gotta head to a dermatologist and go "correct" this sun damage I sustained at age 12

If you're unlicensed how can you call yourself an esthetician and why would a millionaire trust you :upsetfavre:

I'm actually licensed and not practicing and can't even call myself one atm. Shes capping...anyone who spent any time in school would just try to sell her a vitamin c serum or some shyt with hydroquinoe. Its no need to be scared if you have hyperpigmentation. Nothing you buy in a store is going to make you 5 shades lighter it literally just disperses the darker melanin back into the skin to make the skin uniform.

she must have got some ridiculously strong peels and multiple times. Wasn't no mistakes here :hubie:

Why would a wealthy celebrity go to an unlicensed esthetician to begin with?! :duck::stopitslime: You have access to the best people in the world to get work done but you go to someone who doesn't even have a license to practice. :pachaha::duck:
In the late 90s Lil Kim was my celebrity crush and Meagan Good was my celebrity crush in the 2000s/early 2010s and look at them now. :mjcry::mjgrin:

Black people really dont get sun damage per se...specially us brown folks. The sun could increase your uneven blemish though, but as far as causing them...not often. More likely acne scarring. Which still doesnt need a peal that strong.

Im a wealth of often skin information, if I have a answer I dont mind telling you it. Whats the concern?
My number 1 concern is hyper and hypo pigmentation. I always get dark spots in the same places: my left cheek and my chin. Also my t zone is where my skin is more sensitive and dry so when I do use lightening products, I get splotches.
2nd concern is my chin whiteheads. I have to over scrub and exfoliate for that are to look smooth but it always results in dark spots.
3rd concern is the milia on my nose. I’ve always had them so I just thought my skin was like that until I went to a professional. She just recommended glycolic acid and sunscreen but I think they’re too deep for topical products.
I’ve tried high end to low end, oil cleansing, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, you name it.
I don’t have bad skin per se but it’s not flawless like I’d like.

Most important thing for hypo/rpigmentation is prevention. So that means not incurring the blemishes in the first place. If you do then a brightening serum is basically the easiest fix. I use one by differin. If your skin is too sensitive try a scrub by aveeno called posititively radiant. It has soy in it which is a gentle lightening agent. Itll take a lonngggg time to see dramatic effects but itll get there.

For you skin just use a cleamser if you prone to blemishing with a scrub. Whiteheads come from too much oil. I have super oily skin and have like no whiteheads except on my nostrils (which I pusj out in the shower daily) so I have very smooth skin. I double cleanse, then let a gentle scrub sit on my face for a minute then wash that off.

For milias I have no fukking idea why she suggested a peel or spf. Steam your skin and gently try to push them out eith your fingers. If that doesnt work try a retinol. They can definitely be extracted though. Try a mud mask as well to detox. Its a chance their just genetically stubborn for you but Ive been able to get rid of them on clients before. I try to only give advice Id feel safe doing as well. Im 30, a man, and I have almost perfect skin outside of the hyperpigmentation thats prevalent with us but its basically only noticeable by me since I know my face. Every woman Ive dated or friends with say I have better skin than they do lol.

Hope that helps. :flabbynsick:

Skip the scrubs.
Stick to chemical exfoliants and sunscreen.
Tyrosine inhibitors to help keep dark spots at bay and help speed up the lightening of existing ones.
Trust the process.

Scrubs are gonna cause micro tears to skin and make dark spots worse a lot of the time.
