Yo really this shyt pisses me off so much. And it happens so often...this is the main reason why I try to stay the fukk away from white people. Unfortunately I have to be around a lot of young white people and they test you in more ways than one with this racial shyt.
First and foremost, shout out to all my light skinned people on the coli.
Yesterday I went to a graduation party with my lady and she is white btw...so was everyone at this party. No big deal I've been the only person of color at get together's before. However I noticed that one common thing happens nearly EVERYTIME that I am the only person of color at a party with white people I barely know.
So I'm standing around with no drink in my hand because I'm not feeling the vibe of this place @ all. No one is really talking or interacting and I didn't feel like trying to break the ice with these people. My lady asked her homie, hey what's that big black thing over there? She pointed to a compost thing that was near the middle of the year, and her boyfriend is like oh I thought you meant Sandman....I snicker and say naw she would have pointed at my crotch. Everybody gave a nervous laugh, I urged my lady to leave this lame ass party. Now I understand that he was just joking but this isn't the first time this has happened.
I sincerely believe because I'm light skinned, white folks that I don't know always try to break the ice with me in that way to see how I react and going forward know how to interact with me. don't get me wrong, I joke with my white friends about race all the time. My point is, you don't know me like that at all cac and yet you felt comfortable enough to joke with me on some racial sh1t? Naw son. I'll post more stories later because this one is really tame.

Sounds like the same type of people who will tell you they aren't racist, racism doesn't exist anymore and they don't know what is wrong with black people because there is a black president now.
