Idk if anyone could use this info but it helped me recently. If you have a GE fridge, and are paying $50 each for for their water filters you don't need to do that. The cheaper water filters fit and work just as good, only thing is the refrigerator won't recognize it and will give you an error code. This is bc GE uses a RFID tag in the label of their filters. All you gotta do is peel the label off the original filter and wrap it around the cheaper one. I paid $30 for 4 filters doing this vs the $200 it would have cost me from GE.
