Level design makes it breaks these kinda games for me.

If it’s just boring corridor after corridor then i’ll get bored with it. If it has some type of exploration/shortcuts/puzzles/etc then i’m down. combat looks good :ehh:

Game looks ok but art direction + level design is like 90% of the formula, and no one does it better than From Soft.

Art direction is whatever to me, but these games live and die by their level design imo. So many of them are just boring corridor after boring corridor.

The Surge is the only souls clone that got level design right.

Watched the extended gameplay of this one and seems they may have done a good job.

It’s a straight up Bloodborne clone, I just can’t dig it I already know if I play this I’ll just want to play the real thing

Obviously in a video game the game play is the #1 thing but I'm saying, any From game there's always a sense of :ohhh:when you see the creatures and world.

I've watched every piece of footage for this, trailers, etc. and it was all :ld: so far, art direction-wise. Could still be a good game, though.

I agree. Don’t know how the fukk they turned pinocchio into some gothic monster hunter :francis:
