I thought chewing gum was illegal in Singapore

There is a ban on importing chewing gum into Singapore which is strictly enforced. Since 2004, only chewing gum of therapeutic value is allowed into Singaporeunder the "Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) Regulations". The exception is made for dental or nicotine gum.

:snoop: How can someone be dumb enough to go to China and steal?

If you've ever watched their 'reality show' you would see that LiAngelo isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

He's a teenager that commited what basically amounts to petty theft, so they might be lenient with him. The more serious ramifications will be how this affects his standing with the UCLA basketball program.

I think UCLA will keep him on the team, to keep friendly ties with Lonzo. And to get Melo.

He'll probably get suspended.

He prolly got caught tryna steal some playing time for UCLA this year because if he wasn’t gonna ride the bench before, he sure as hell will now. He’s gonna have reserved spot on the bench just for him.

nikka gotta avoid jail first

The three men could be detained for more than a month without American-style bail before local prosecutors even decide whether to press charges, according to William Nee, a Hong Kong-based researcher of the Chinese court system for Amnesty International.
