Wherever whores go.....
yall are completely misunderstanding what @Codeine Crazy is saying :snoop:

why in the fukk would you spend almost 2k for a tv that won't be worth half that in 2 years

can anyone honestly says there's a noticeable difference in >$1500 super high end tv's and an $800 tv :ld:

i just went into video/audio center around me today and they all look basically the same

some have marginally better color, but thats about it

better refresh rate is nice :ehh:

not worth an extra $1000 doe :heh:

im not trying to hate but it imho new television technology is not worth the money

it's not like a computer where that extra money is going to something noticeable (processing power, hdd space, cooler running parts, touch integration, etc)

but get it how you live playa :manny: if i had the money i'd be wasting it all on new tech :francis: student life :francis:

What you typed doesn't make a lick of fukking sense. Computer parts will be equally worthless in a couple years as TV tech. The $900 TV will be worth a lot less in as would a $3K TV.

How stupid do you have to be to think there isnt a difference between a LED and an OLED. LEDs cannot produce a true black color that alone is worth the extra money. There is a noticeable difference and its huge.

ARE REALLY THIS FUKKING DUMB TO THINK THERE ISNT A NOTICEBALE DIFFRERNECE BETWEEN a $900 TV and a $2000 TV :wtf:

There is a huge difference between and OLED and led and there is a quite a NOTICEBALE DIFFRERNECE between a 1080p and a 4K set.

Why is computer parts justifiable(which are the one of the tech that advances rapidly) for sometimes marginal differences but other tech isn't?

Just because it's not worth it to you doesn't mean it's worth for someone else

And if you are disliking it because you can't afford it then get the duck out this thread :wtf:

no doubt breh
I spent 1600, are u saying this will be 800 next year? That would mean the current led tvs would need to drop to 200-400 per. That sounds unlikely.
Have u seen the OLED technology for yourself?
Seriously the difference is :ohlawd:

yes there's a difference but not a big difference :ld:

nikka said true black :mjlol:

"guys come over to my place, my tv has true black!! you don't know what black looks like until you see my tv turn completely off in certain parts :krs:"

i just feel like tv's are just a tv, like who really cares about a tv, as long as it looks nice what does it matter if there's another hundred rows of pixels :russell:

i was buggin about the price drop but i guess im biased towards computers. tv's are tv's, computers are more useful and the money is more well spent imo :manny:

Enjoy my friend. The one thing I hate about this current crop of tv's (at least at the time I bought mine) was the motion blur. I cannot stand that sh*t. It didn't exist on CRT TV's but reared it's ugly head with the advent of flat screen TV's.

The color contrast, accuracy plus the lack of motion blur would please me satisfactorily. I'm probably gonna redo my whole setup in a year or so. Atmos anyone?
