Was so close to pulling the trigger on the B6 last year but with HDMI 2.1 VRR & Freesync being introduced as standard I'm sitting on my hands so I can future proof my purchase. Sexy ass TVs :wow:
Smart man. It's not a good move to buy these TVs this year with HDMI 2.1 on next year's sets. Especially if you have or plan to get the Xbox One X.

I'd rather have a TV that eliminates screen tearing than one that doesn't.

That ain't the same as a fukking OLED which is the point of this thread. I also said that TV has a frame rate of 60Hz which is fukking trash & HDR 10 is the industry standard which that $450 TV doesn't have. You want to waste your money on that go ahead
This is 60hz too

What is HDMI 2.1
The new standard for HDMI ports on TVs It supports
Dynamic HDR (HDR can be adjusted on a scene by scene basis instead of on the content as a whole)
Dolby Atmos over ARC
Variable refresh rates on TVs for video games (Freesync / G-Sync type tech which means games won't have screen tearing)

The tech will be on 2018 TVs as it wasn't finalized in time for 2017 models.
