A suspect has been arrested for allegedly plotting to attack the Federal Reserve building in New York City on Wednesday.
ABC reports federal authorities and NYPD foiled his plans with an organized sting operation in which the man parked a van he thought was carrying explosives near the Lower Manhattan building.
The man then attempted to set off the fake explosives from the Millenium Hotel using a cell phone.
Sources say an undercover agent provided the man with the explosives after meeting online.
The FBI has identified the suspect as a 21-year-old from Bangladesh. The man lives in Long Island and is believed to have acted alone.
