From my interpretation and I'm not perfect, you tithe with food not money.

Tithing was never about money. They were commanded to give 10% of their flocks and first fruits to the Levite priest so they can 1) provide for the Levites since they weren't given any of their own land and 2) provide for the widows, the poor, and orphans of the nation.

Deuteronomy 14:22-29

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

Even Malachi 3 (which Christian preachers love to misquote says the exact same thing). The windows of Heaven in verse 10 is refering to rain (Genesis 7:11)
