this is the record industry in general,nothing surprising in the least..
what i think is corny/a tad infuriating is how they hijacked the "independent"/i did it on my own interweb ethos and use it to their benefit,when in reality they're all backed by major label illuminazi's..
then again the whole world has been basically hijacked,so i don't get too worked up over that shyt anymore..the only way to win/take the wind outta their sails is not to pay(keyword) attention to their bullshyt..

I'm all for this wave of thinking but I think safe to say 69 didn't get to where he is at off the strength of The Coli nor does the average person care to evaluate what they're being fed by media outlets. There are more people that enjoy 69 than don't at the moment currently

2. these cacs offer them a way out of poverty on some sell ur soul to the devil shyt -- sorta similar to the college & pro sports industries
3. this offer is almost always the only way they can elevate out of being broke, hopeless and having no future so they will fall in line and carry out whatever bidding CAC tells them to
vicious cycle continues.

but i think its more the industry that controls the distribution of rap and who does and doesnt get heard/have a machine put behind them..
rap itself isnt the devil i dont think. but in the wrong hands its def a powerful tool that can be used demonic entities
like guns, and political power etc.

The issue is the art form cannot be separated from the industry. The way we consume it and measure success is fruit a poisonous tree
you can be a sh!tty rapper..as long as your YT views up.. and, you posting your streaming plaques on the 'gram.. it dont matter.. success is all that matters these days..
