I like the Young Turks, but I agree they need to chill with the pop culture stories. I'd still watch that over cable news any day.
Some of you don't seem to like the fact that sometimes they have opinions about things instead of just reporting things purely factually, but I don't have an problem with it.

Honestly I see TYT as quick liberal "satire" more than anything. In the same way @Slystallion can listen to public radio () and not believe all the bullcrap they're spewing.

No one has problems with the fact that they have opinions. They use short cuts to reach their opinions too often. @Serious is dapping this post, but at the same time says he considers them to be comedy. You cannot be both. Either you're a serious news broadcast and everything you say is well-reasoned through or you're a liberal version of those conservative on the radio. The only difference is that (A) people agree with their opinion so they ignore the holes in their reasoning or the leaps they take and (B) they will actually put up facts and statistics to support their opinions, but then they won't flesh them out properly.
The last time I pointed this out, I was hit with, "Yeah, but in the end you agree with their final point so what is the problem..."
This is the problem (typical TYT segment): This bad thing happened ---> These facts demonstrate some unfairness or hypocrisy ---> conclusion: it MUST be because of this reason alone (often the most nefarious reason)...why....because Cenk says so.
It's garbage. He was better on MSNBC. Now he 50-50 doing shyt like that since he came back and Ana is nothing more than a pretty face. They're a more entertaining version of Rachel Maddow, but the very reason they're more entertaining than her is because they don't fully vet out their stances the way she does which bores people.

i love 'what the flick' even though ben mankiewicz wont watch the damn movies
cenk can provide great commentary on many subjects, but his heart doesnt seem to be in it on half of them. he does tend to come alive when talking about economics, banking, or the many ways obama is a sellout. anything outside of those topics and you might come away less than impressed.
jimmy dore can be hilarious
