if you were the MAN at home, wifey wouldn't need a supplemental (work) husband :manny:

let me find out my wife is giving other dudes the "husband" title. i will make sure that he gets ALL the perks of having her as a wife. bills, frigid spells, arguments, insecurity, kid issues, cooking, cleaning, and all. don't stop at the good shyt. get the bad shyt too...:birdman:

but my wife works from home, so her only "work husband" is our male shih tzu...:pachaha:

people are getting bolder and bolder. more and more entitled. always looking for a thrill. never satisfied. trying to see how far they can take things. and if you refuse to tolerate their BS you're insecure, you're a hater, you're slut shaming.

there is no such thing as should or shouldn't. Only what you will or won't tolerate.

I wouldn't approve of it if I knew about it.
But women get hit on and flirted with all the time. If she was actively pursuing a "work husband", I'm not sure our relationship would work out in the long run.

i'm glad you said "people" because it's not just women. this "smartphone" generation of men as well as women are really pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable behavior in a commited realtionship and "teehee'ing :o:" about a lot of that shyt like it's is cute. :rudy:

yeah, i was actually gonna write women but then switched it to people. It's like a lot of women want to be divas and stars, want to be adored and treasured by everyone, feeling entitled to everything. And lots of dudes want to be pimps and players re-enacting their favorite rap songs. and you know what? there's nothing wrong with a woman being treated like a queen, just like there is nothing wrong with pimping itself. the problem is that people think they deserve it but don't bring anything to the table. don't put in any work.

How you expect to be treated like a queen yet you acting like a concubine? how you expect to be a pimp but can't control your emotions letting women slide and disrespect, making exceptions and excuses for them? Don't even respect yourself yet the world should respect you.

If you laugh at a chick for submitting to you, that means you find the idea of a woman submitting to you rediculous (are you not worthy?).

You all realize that this shyt is some baby boomer shyt due to lack of workplace harassment/affair rules, not something that new generations tend to engage in right?

It honestly seems like some of you just get off on sounding like some damn ancient grandpas "Well, back in my day... you kids today...people are getting worse".

Ain't nobody but middle aged/old white people walkin' around with work husbands and wives. Stop being so dramatic and act like you've stepped out the house and interacted with actual people in the past 20 years. :heh:

:stopitslime: Breh, baby boomers didnt have work husbands/wives.

They had mistresses. They had affairs.

This new term is just a way to make it seem cute, before things get ugly.
Because no matter how innocent it may sound or how intriguing it may be, a work gf/wife almost always ends very badly:upsetfavre:

wow

I'm not against the idea of having close friends at work, but

a) calling them work husband/wife is a problem and
b) this guy :wow: the other guy has a piece of her heart?!?!?

My work gf has a bf. She risked her life to get me lunch one day. I can only imagine what she does for her real bf.
