What I love though is the year Alabama won the national championship in 09 Auburn had us down 14-0 in the 1st quarter, and we slowly worked our way back into the game and ended up winning with a near perfect drive at the end.

Then the year Auburn won it, Alabama had them down 21-0, and Cam Newtons TD at the end of the 1st half set the momentum for the 2nd half. That forced fumble on Mark Ingram where the ball flew 30 yards for a touch back may be the best play in Auburn history.

All we needed was a field goal to seal that game up, but that kid set Auburn up for the win.

I got mad respect for Gus Malzahn though.. he is a great play caller.

If I'm not mistaken Chizik is more of a defensive minded coach, and the only game I saw his defense really show up is in the national championship game against Oregon.

One thing about Auburn though during this era is they are always making big plays to win games.

I think Auburn will beat Clemson tonight, but I think it'll come to big plays on defense, rather than Frazier.. whose only experience is vs Auburns defense in practice.

How? Our D-Line should be one of the top in the conference. VanGorder had some of the best defenses of the decade when he was at UGA. I don't expect the defense to look anything like the ones under Roof.

The one game Chizik took over the defense was the '11 Chick-Fil-A bowl in which they looked better than anytime during the entire season.
