Doesn't matter which league/sport.

What are some of the worst draft blunders that set a team back?

Trading an ENTIRE fukkING DRAFT for Ricky Williams.

The Raiders.

But in all honesty, picks that weren't questioned at the time shouldn't be mentioned. Ryan Leaf is the BUST poster boy and a bad pick in hindsight...but if most teams in their position would have done the same thing, hard to really blame the team

The worst of all time

1980

The golden state warriors (draft day) trade the #3 pick AND robert parrish for the Celtics #1 and #13 pick. They in turn draft JOE BARRY CARROL. At 3, the celtics draft kevin Mchale.

In whole, the warriors traded robert parrish and Kevin mchale for joe barry carrol and rickey brown....3 years later, when the duo was winning their second nba title, carroll was playing in ITALY. Brown would join him a year later...

Michael Olowokandi going #1 almost single-handedly buried the clippers for numerous years :pachaha: 1998 was just a horrible year for teams that seemingly had the first 5-6 picks :heh:

Could have chosen: Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, Dirk Nowitzki

Titans selecting WR Kevin Dyson over Randy Moss. :to:

If the Titans had selected Moss, their offense would have had Steve "Air" McNair, Eddie George, Randy Moss, Derrick Mason & Frank Wycheck from 1998 through AT LEAST 2003.

The Titans would have OWNED that era. Especially with our defense. fukk the Patriots. :beli:

Jeff Fisher's love for quiet, tame role players have fukked this franchise.

Bears taking David Terrell at no. 8 in one of the GOAT WR classes (2001--Ochocino, Steve Smith, Reggie Wayne, Chris Chambers, many more I can't think of)
Every team in MLB passing on Albert Pujols DOZENS of times :dead:
