Let's talk Bad Rap Albums (Jay, T.I., Nas...)

The MCHG thread earlier this week made me revisit that album...it had some a lot of mediocre songs but some strong ones, so did Kingdom Come, though MCHG was more spread out. KC and BP3 both start good then tail off.

I think all 3 would benefit from the 10-track format like 4:44.

Alot of albums would benefit from the 10 track format

It's not a bad album. I give it a C+ to B- kinda grade

Kingdom Come isnt that bad in retrospect, Magna Carter though . Even that had some tracks on it though

Master P, Only God Can Judge Me was trash but at least I got about 5 joints out of it

Yes and no. It depends on the artist and album. 4 Your Eyez Only was about 11 songs but Cole needed another 2-3 tracks to tie the concept together for me. If Kanye saves a couple Cold Summer songs for Yeezus it probably ends up better.

fukkwithmeyouknowigotit with rozay is a fun track, we need that full version of beach is better

i would never pick a song off that album and throw it in a playlist, but i would skim through the album if need be

nikkas forget certain tracks off I Am, Nastradumus, Lost Tapes was suppose to be a double album released in 99’. Nas had to split it up cuz of bootlegging.

Nas would’ve had 4 straight classics all the way through stillmatic

Lost one's is great, for some reason minority report don't hit for me. Maybe that whisper flow.

I guess Immobilarity is a bad album I like. Sell these nikkas the illusion and plus live it out of spite

I listen to this more than the Ghostface joint.
