This thread reminded me how Africa has so many untold stories,from west,east,central and south.GREAT thread.
You may have called it broWhat i love about early Yoruba civilization is that not only does it have this mystic feel to it, but it reminds me of "Atlantis" for some strange reason. The Yorubas were literally the "Greeks" of Africa imo. Anyhow let me drop some interesting info.

It's a shame. So much culture and history not being told or barely preserved. I suggest building museums dedicated to the cultures and histories of Nigerian ethnic groups.A lot of history on what is now Modern day Nigeria. The history books often begin Nigerian history at the arrival of the British. It doesn't help that we as a people failed to take good records and also promote them until this very day.
