dre got quik in the studio.It's sad when you realize Dre doesn't even acknowledge Quik the way Quik acknowledges Dre. I mean when was the last time you heard Dre talking about Quik?
wasnt at ren...That's wild that Quik thought the shot at Ren was about him
ren was the only nikka on ruthless records that got a shout out...from dre durin the beef...
the shot was at dj yella...yella remained loyal like ren did to eazy til he died...but yella was down for whatever shyt eazy was in..if it was fukk dre..its fukk dre from yella
ren rode with eazy right or wrong..but he never spoke on dre ever..he kept his mouth shut...
only time he had somethin to say on dre n eazy.....was when eazy was clownin on yo mtv raps...u can tell it pissed ren off..

quik bein one of the baddest nikkas to ever touch a mpc...dre needed help for my dad gones crazy n in the club...he went to quik..
then they did put it on me...quik pretty much showed the world why dre could never eazy e him or luke him on the mic...so he had to goto knocturnal for assistance for his verse on put it on me..
ppl dont realize quik is underrated on the mic when he wanna go he will go...n if u wanna battle wits he will get in yo ass..
lyrical as eiht was.. quik punished him...eiht was considered one of the best story tellers in the west..quik liked to down play his gang bangin activity..so he didnt need to get gangsta every song...

loked out hood...sumthin 4 the mood n dollaz n sense was the only times u heard quik shoutin out his set n hood..

at the same time he respects dr. dre, his contributions to hip hop and music
but then at the same time, quik knows he's contributed a lot to hip hop and music as well and doesn't get his props like he should

Nah, pretty sure it was at Ren. This was during the whole "reunion" talks I n 98-99 after some comments were made, and I remember people being surprised that he ended up on Some L.A. nikkas

if I recall, Ren said something about a reunion not bein' able to pop off because Dre was too busy "suckin' New York dikk". This was around the time Dre was working with the Firm album and did that song with LL. '97-'98ish
