His resume actually is pretty decent. He fought credible guys, but he never had the win over a A level opponent that would have legitimized his resume in a lot of people's eyes. I think the Barrera fight made many Hamed detractors feel solid discrediting him.
Hamed proved to be a good fighter who beat other good fighters, just wasn't able to beat Barrera, who is an ATG.
But I am a Hamed stan. The way Barrera neutralized Hamed and showed the different levels in boxing made me feel
on the night of the fight, but historically it is 
for Barrera's performance.I do think a lot of people disliked Hamed in his prime. He did the flashy entrances and trash talk. He captured that same market Mayweather has, you tune in because you are heavily rooting for him to win or lose, but he gets you to tune in.
