I think you can extrapolate negative images from any group of people. I think the bigger issue is do we allow those images to be the only representation of us and more importantly, how do we counteract those images in our behavior, culture, career aspirations and also how do we take back our image and let us control the narrative.

Sadly breh, intelligence in the black community is linked to being "lame" and "corny". Ignorance has been glorified as whats cool. Young smart black kids often suppress their own intelligence to appear more "street/hood".
