As a warning.
I don't see why the biggest release of the week isn't up there....at least in most weeks.
Not necessarily in the shytpile that is January/February, but when summer hits? Cmon.
...and we never get one for major movie releases.

See this is a prime example of what I'm talking about.
What is a major movie release?
By that logic "American Sniper", "The Boy Next Door", and "Paddington" should all be stickied. That's 1-3 right now. Movies the vast majority of the board doesn't even fukk with.
During the summer? There's anywhere from 10-15+ movies that fall into this category. Sticky them all?
The biggest of the week?
This was the #1 movies of 2014:
"Frozen"
"Lone Survivor"
"Ride Along"
"The Lego Movie"
"Non-Stop"
"Mr. Peabody And Sherman"
"Neighbors"
etc. etc. etc.
Half of the biggest movies of 2014 nobody here gives a fukk about. For every "The Winter Soldier" there's a "Quija" or "The Fault In Our Stars".
Meanwhile stuff like "The Raid 2" is nowhere to be seen. I stickied "The Raid 2".

Man has a point. We all can't agree on our top movies and the ones that are truly some of the biggest releases, a lot of the board won't mess with
And that's the crux of that problem for anything here. People can toss out ideas, dap each other....ok cool....but there's an entire board that won't necessarily like whatever idea they have. The only way to insure nobody complains is to keep the sticky process (mostly) random....and even then, there's this thread.
Any idea anyone has, if they have a feasible way to implement it, that most of the board agrees with, I'm all ears. But hell....The Arcadium didn't even unanimously agree this board should exist....so that ain't gonna happen.

Half of those movies would be getting stickies anyway due to requests. As far as the rest...."Ant-Man" and "Terminator Genisys" wasn't setting the board on fire last I checked. So we can't go by "what's the #1 movie"...."what's the next summer blockbuster"....or else eventually we'll run into shyt like "The Boy Next Door" or "TMNT".

For what? It was ultimately the owners call and even then people fought them tooth and nail.
Regardless, something that turned out to be a good idea wasn't a unanimous vote, so the chances of us coming to a consensus on stickies is slim to none.

Then clarified "biggest movie of the week". Ok cool.
Then you said 8 movies, some of which had a luke warm reception ("Ant-Man") or were outright ridiculed in their respective threads ("Genisys").
So yeah, eventually we'll run into movies half the board doesn't care about.
