So threads that are doing numbers arent getting stickied but banshee, better call saul, gamora are?

I understand the mods are trying to put people on to new great shows but clearly the people dont care.

Threads should be stickied based on popularity, not some niche bullshyt a handful of yall think we should be watching...fukk that elitist bullshyt, if a show is good enough it will build popularity to deserve to be stickied...I also don't feel shows like Saul should be up there based off Breaking Bad's popularity...It's a spinoff that has a very high chance of flopping...

I started the Banshee thread and I said the same thing in the arrow thread there should be another way to highlight dope shows but thread that are more active while the show is still running should be stickied like arrow walking dead and game of thrones, I dont fukk with Empire but its doing numbers and the Banshee slander is out of line

I think none of those threads need to be stickied because they'll be upped for every episode that drops anyway, and since the average season lasts two-three months that means that half the time there's no variation. I much rather see the stickies go to 'event threads' like Superbowl TV Spot thread, Oscar Watchers thread, Occasional movie of the moment thread (think Predestination), etc. that draw a lot of activity/attention during a fixed period.

I mean, I don't give a fukk about the Oscars but why the fukk would you unsticky the Oscar Watchers thread before the Oscars have even happened?

true. I think i may like your idea a little more, but I also suggested this before, in thecoliseum if you scroll to the bottom they have a list of "essential threads" like random NBA thoughts etc, we could do a similar thing here so that there aren't as many stickies at the top of the page.

I think bk or cook or someone gets pissed that there are so many stickies and just starts randomly unsticking stuff

The stickied threads are random because you guys (not necessarily anyone in this thread, I mean the board in general) don't know what you want stickied. I get requests for damn near every thread to be stickied.

No, there is no rhyme or reason to it. There can't be without pissing off half the board no matter what I sticky. So I randomly pick things people request as a compromise.

If you need proof, look at the "Banshee" love/hate in this thread. Now multiply that across the entire board, and virtually every show/movie/whatever.

@The Fukin Prophecy I didn't sticky "Better Call Saul" because of "Breaking Bad"'s popularity. I stickied it because it's getting great reviews. Whether or not it flops is because shows with virtually no audience ("Hannibal" for example) are wildly popular here totally independent of that.
