and they still WERE black people rather they came from Africa or not. They had a relationship there & always went back there when needed to be among people who LOOKED like them. Even if their faith was different.

you can argue with the word all you want but its there & its logic is clear :manny:

It's always interesting to me how people always think all Africans look a certain way. I wonder how they explain Kobe Bryant's pointy nose. His grandfather must've been Nordic.

dude clearly does not know the Word but he in here trying to argue about it.

there is also some argument that can be made that the Children of Israel may have originated from Ethiopia in the 1st place.

Zephaniah 3:10 KJV From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.

edit...I see you posted it already. :russ: People DO NOT KNOW THE WORD

Again, this is what the scripture says...the guy is clearly black.

How can Jesus NOT be black is the better question, if you want to have an 'opposing' view of the scripture. :jawalrus:

breh I'm the wrong one to try on this subject. I've done plenty of research & reading of the bible & other interpretations. I made entire threads on this. I know what black people look like & how our hair is...that's all that matters.

you guys are in here quoting scriptures incorrectly. I go by KJV ONLY and Hebrew interpretations. The bible talks about color throughout the Old testament, you guys are just too blind to see it. Now I don't know if black people in America are the 'true israelites' but I do know one thing. That bible clearly states that the people in that book are black with woolly hair. No one else looks like that except black folks.

Its amazing that as long as people claim Jesus wasn't black the thread is allowed to go on but when I made my thread documenting the history of white people & their origins which debunked and proved all of this in question... it was locked. :beli:

like this... FINE BRASS

filter%20f.JPG

in terms of his hair it would have denoted something different than WOOL if it was anything other than woolly. Wool is used to describe the texture. 'Like Snow' is used to describe color of his garment. Black people only have woolly hair. That means it was white & woolly.

All of this would make sense if the world were black/white....but it isn't. Black/Negro/African people are not the only people on earth with skin the color of burnt brass. Most populations outside of Europeans are a varying assortment of brown, from light to dark. There are Arabs and other people in the ME who fit that description today whom you would NOT consider to be "black," so what does that tell you?

Being that Jesus was an Israelite, who are cousins to the Arabs, it can be most likely surmised that Jesus resembled a dark skinned Arab from that part of the world. It's not that complicated.

During the time frame that we are speaking.... knowing everything you know about the time, history, genetics, migration patterns, written records, and religious text - If Jesus used his pic as his avatar on The Coli you would consider him what???

if you don't say black then I will have to change my screen name to something else king

Only the Israelites of that time didn't look like that.

I think people are forgetting the timing of these occurences. It's like me saying Brad Pitt is an all-American. Yeah but 300 years ago he looked like a foreigner. The Hebrews of that time did not look Arab, they looked African. Which is why Paul was confused for an Ethiopian. It's why Jesus hid in Egypt -- among other Africans.

The Tewahedo Orthodox Church was only present in Ethiopia and Eritrea (used to be one state)

The Coptic Church was present in Egypt and Sudan (both used to be one state)

^^^ these are the only early forms of Christianity on the African continent

So when I say "African" Christianity was confined to Egypt and Ethiopia this is what I mean. These churches were located in specific parts of Africa.
When you say "only Egypt and Ethiopia", you also have to take into consideration that the geography in the 100 AD was far different that what it is today. Egypt and Ethiopia were significantly larger than they are today, and they encompassed numerous tribes and people due to various conquests and politics. You make it seem as if it was only a small, insignificant portion of Africa were influenced by Egypt and Ethiopia when in actuality their influence in the region was quite significant.

it does make sense, you just refuse to believe it. If that guy skin looked like fine brass & his hair is woolly all described as such in the bible... Then he is black point blank...no ifs, ands, buts, about it.

I'd probably consider him to be from somewhere in the ME.

Just like the woman in your avy looks like she has black african ancestry.

look, you guys can't have it both ways. If you aren't ready to claim the entire dark skinned population of the ME as "black," then don't claim any....you can't just pick and choose based on whats convenient.

Jesus probably looked like Osama Bin Laden...maybe a little darker, which isn't out of the ordinary for someone from that part of the world.

Thanks for laying out our options for us...:comeon:

I claim anyone that is black as BLACK. I don't care what country they stay in..no picking or choosing. Those people are black just like the people in this video. There can be debates about how they got there, how they look like they do but all I know is that the folks are black.

And guess what their craft is

Why would he look like that? Because many Arabs look like that today?

Woman in my avi ..... saw women like her in the middle east recently --- thousands of years after Jesus' death.

How is it possible for Jesus' hood to not look like various colors of black people if they were there before the time in which all the events happened that created the Bin Laden looking people in the area???

and that proves what exactly? certainly not that Jesus was an African.

Please. Those "bin laden looking people" are pretty much what they looked like long ago as well...maybe a lil darker....doesn't make them black.
