If they had more of a Beats by Dre, or Raw logo red, it'd be a fire belt. Just a brighter, hot red.

They literally picked the worst color red possible.

Would have been smarter to use the market research used to authenticate the white ic and white tna knockoff style strap idea and use it as the same colorway and uniform idea for the main raw title.
Instead they made the title the same color as tna's female tag champion belts that were phased out.
Plus, made it the same.color as the lucha trios champs title.

Pisspoor admin work from WWE on this.

You really can't go wrong with black and gold, yeah it might look 'boring' to some people but it's a classic design. All the UFC titles look the same but they all look good. That seems to be the inspiration behind making that big ass W Title on every belt sans the IC and Tag titles. The difference is they went way overboard with this belt and it looks like somebody just dumped a bunch of red paint on it.

I guess the red will look okay with Balor's demon attire but there's just so much red. Take a look at this boxing belt, classic black and gold and the red isn't overpowering.

Few custom belts from CUSTOM CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS: Masis Boxing Belts, championship belts, wrestling belts, custom belts and much more!

The current thing WWE is doing with their belts is like they don't wanna spend too much money on it. Obviously boxing belts are different from MMA and wrestling belts but still the design is what I'm talking about too. You hear Universal and you don't really picture a big W in your head. This is pro wrestling, you can be more creative than that.

Rollins was once a fan like the rest of us in this forum and with that I get his WHY for posting this.

BUT. .. he should not have tweeted this, for many reasons. One of the main is heel or face you NEVER want to come off like you're pandering/asking for acceptance of any kind from your paying audience, even if you're in the right because it makes you appear weak.

Vent to one of the OG's in the back but don't let "fans" see you like this Seth, especially the vocal ones now who feel they can hi-jack a show when something they don't like appears. .. especially if they know they'll get a rise out of a wrestler with it.

The old school eagle belt was the way to go IMO because it's their lineage, 90's retro is very much in so celebs left and right would wear that belt proudly if you sent a few out which would make their following buy it too. .. but WWE is ALL about branding and marketing the WWE name at all costs hence why they have a GIANT WWE logo on the belt, so it doesn't surprise me that they'd go with the same belt with both brands and the women.
