It was incredibly hot though.:whew: Contender for best PS2 RPG of all time.

I :cape: for Dragon Quest too but the problem is, the game has been a niche series for the about 20 years. All of the games have been very good/great but they don't do numbers like that. It's an underutilized series in general but they are basically a handheld series for here on out. Could you imagine Dragon Quest X on the PS3 or even the Vita. :ahh:

Before Square Enix came into the pictures, we had gems like FF6 FF7 FF8 FF9, im not too sure about FF10 , whether or not it was made by enix, but hell, even that game was piff. And from then on we had garbage like FF 10-2 ,FF 11, FF 12, FF 13 (Worst FF game, off-line) sh*t is crazy brehs.

I can argue that this is the best stretch of ANY game series EVER.

It's not entirely their fault...when it comes to mainstream releases the RPG genre has become stagnant...Both in terms of game play and narrative.

SO true, Turned based RPGs was necessary cause the hardware of PS1 was limited and they didn't have enough memory to make real time action on multiple characters. Like East Coast rap, it has its classic moments, but stagnation killed it.

Square used to be one of the top gaming developers in the world. Now, they are not even mentioned.

I don't even mind if it's turn based, but you gotta add a new spin to it also. All they've done is ad some minor tweaks here and there. In the case of Square Enix the tweaks they've made have all be shyt they've stolen from other series.
