Rondo prioritizes his assists over actually running a fluid offense. Ain't nothin new. That shyt don't mean anything at the end of the day, cause he never gonna be the focal point of a championship team like the other PGs (who are capable enough) in the league.

Rondo is a good player but his numbers and the type of numbers he gets make him very overrated.
First of all the guy is still a pretty much pathetic shooter, 2nd of all the way Doc Rivers runs their offense really allows Rondo to work the assist numbers. 3rd of all Rivers loves Rondo so he always get huge minutes. THere is more too, but these are just a few that came to my mind.

You have to check the context of the video. Idk if it was this game in particular but a very similar play to that video happened. The reason Westbrook passed KD the ball for that layup was cause Kd was cold for the whole game up until that point and Westbrook was tryna spark KD to get some kind of rhythm/confidence going in his game (he needs to have something go into the basket even as simple as a layup/dunk).

We only deal with reality, not if's. Rondo doesn't have a jumpshot and he's not more aggressive driving to the basket. Joel Anthony gets more respect from defenders than Rondo, thats all you need to know about him.

When a guy is passing the ball to an unprepared teammate with 2 seconds left on the shot clock for the sake of extending a streak, that's selfish.
The dude was telling his guys to do basic down screens with under a minute left of a blowout trying to get 1 more assist. It was hilarious actually.
The first screen was set, the guy came up to the wing and wasn't open. Rondo tells the dude to go set a pick for the guy who just screened him

This guy is a selfish piece of shyt. I knew it would be pure comedy too, cause he had like 8 minutes left in the game and had to get 4 more assists. I watched the rest of the quarter knowing he was going to just try his hardest to do so. I'm actually surprised he took a shot for the rest of the game to be honest with you.
