That Kane build should have been cross brand and he should have gone over EVERYONE leading to a match with a returning Taker at WM 2004 where he would finally be defeated. Of course it wouldn't end there. By SummerSlam 2004 that program would lead to Taker turning heel and the Brothers going on a monstrous run. I hadn't planned much after that.

I just listened to the Lapsed Fan podcast on Summerslam 03 and they were talking about this. 03 Kane was the shyt. Dude was really out here killing and burning wrestlers

As a breh who got into wrestling late compared to most (late 90's around the time Smackdown premiered), 03 Kane was the first time I found dude scary. He seemed like he was legit out to just kill everyone.
