There's no bro science like coli bro science. Much like everything else associated with genetics, it varies from situation to situation. I know plenty of tall people with average sized fathers and tall mothers who get their height from their moms side. I know people with above average height fathers and short mothers who dont even reach their father's height because their mom comes from short stock

There's no way I would risk it. My father's family is short AF. All 5'10 and below. I was fortunate enough to make it to 6'1 because of my moms side thankfully. I have cousins (on my fathers side) who got an even better deal and made it to 6'4 and 6'5 respectively because of their mom's genes.

Best friend growing up was 5'8. His father was above average height and his mom was 5'0.

It is completely irresponsible to have children with a short women. Women dont want children by short men so a lot of short men dont breed. So where do all these short people keep popping up from? They get their height from their mothers side.
