They shouldn't never had tried to come for samsungs crown. They don't have the capita to lose, and consolidating their efforts into a product that shipped late is gonna be the real dagger in the history books.
I wish they would've stuck with what they original were good at, being an alternative to RIM and the likes and coming up with innovative designs. fukk it, atleast drop a qwerty for me to feast on, the streets need it! But nope, got stuck making the same device. With all the putting on they did for qualcomm i really thought they had alliance or something.

HTC will be fine. There are getting rid of all the lames that help drag the company down. If you want to understand what is going on with htc you have look deeper than into how things work at htc. Let me use Sega as a example. One of Sega biggest issues was the different mentalities between SOA (Sega of America) and SOJ (Sega of Japan). They had two different visions of the company which made customers distrust them. The same was happening to HTC.
The good thing about htc is 1. even with dwindling profits they are a relatively a debt free company so they can turn it around. 2. With the new Apple/Samsung like strategy aka launching on all carriers and having one flagship phone to build a brand name. I believe the worst is behind them The One is already a success. They already have 48% better sales in May than any month in the last 2 years. If the new "T6" rumor is true the Note 3 will have some decent competition this year.
