In the past couple of weeks the following people have left the company

Chief Operating Officer Matthew Costello

Chief Product Officer Kouji Kodera, (responsible for HTC's overall product strategy,)

Vice president of global communications Jason Gordon

Global retail marketing manager Rebecca Rowland

Director of digital marketing John Starkweather

HTC Asia CEO Lennard Hoornik (quit yesterday)

Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Greg Fisher

Product strategy manager Eric Lin ( went on twitter and told other HTC employee to JUST QUIT)

eric L @ericlin

To all my friends still at @HTC - just quit. leave now. it’s tough to do, but you’ll be so much happier, I swear.

Damn what the hell is going on :russ:

the HTC First was a complete fail , and it seems like people on the inside knew it was going to be but they went ahead anyways

the HTC One was the opposite a perfect phone and people on the inside knew it but it did not receive proper marketing or manufacturing

everyone jumping ship

My takeaways from this

A: Facebook is on some bytch shyt. Swerving HTC and ATT on Home being released so close to the first is terrible. It's quite clear that FB was using this as a tester for initiating their own Nexus type situation, but then ejected on that, and decided to go straight software (which is a much better idea for them)

B: HTC still has a long way to go to right the ship. Chou had the right idea, because they HAD to launch before the S4. But not easing up a little bit to try to avoid these supply issues was crazy. Also, they need to clearly define what they consider as a retail success in this case, because there is literally no way the One had a chance to outsell the S4 with the momentum they have right now. The best thing to do is to chip away at their lead bit by bit, and let Samsung's growing arrogance (the fukk are they thinking with the S4 being 250 for a 16gb? That Note 3 is gonna come in at like 350. We're back to old school Treo prices :scusthov:) fix the rest.

4.2.2 is already been leaked and Key Lime pie is in development. This has no effect on me and my lovely One. Why should I care?

Keep telling yourself this friend. HTC as a company probably won't exist in its current form this time next year, yet my trusted Nokia will still jeep getting love and support.

Time to join the winning side friend.
