Lets talk about how overrated Suh has been

Not necessarily, but as I said, I haven't seen EVERY Lions game so much of what I can go by is numbers....not necessarily by how many pressures he gets, or plays he disrupts, or times her forces the QB into a bad pass.

No one was going by numbers in here, though.

I don't see him shedding blockers or moving the pile. Even if he's double teamed, which is expected, a dominant DT has to make plays in the run game at least

its either bad coaching or him being stubborn (but thats also bad coaching-or inept coaching). I dont think theres anything else to it. he doesnt even TRY to do anything else but get superaggresive goin after the QB

and if u do same shyt every time youll get neutralized in the NFL no matter how good your athleticism is.

in that Titans game they played 65 mins of football, got no sacks and 1 QB hit

Vandenbosch and Avril have to take some heat too, D Line makes everything pop for the rest of a defense and they have been trash. Avril was poppin off like he was elite when he was lookin for that extension, dudes a situational pass rusher at best

i think those fines messed him up- he still talented but he definitely has been less effective than usual.

i think its the team in general- the lions are underachieving overall. i don't wanna say it but *cough, cough* madden curse may have gotten to them.

I didn't see any lions games this year, but based on last year, Suh always trying to overpower linemen and doesn't use any technique.

To be fair, he really has never been the same player since the stomping incident.....Idk if its due to him being embarrassed or just he feels the league is cracking down on him

Anyway, Suh's still a good player. The rest of that line is just fukking awful, so it's really tough for him to get a push when the focus of the o-line is on him. He's not JJ Watt, but he's still a helluva player. They need DEs in the worst way.

I hate to say it but suh ain't doing shyt out there. And he's not being double teamed on everyday as people keep saying. When suh was being double teamed that's when avril was performing. I'm so glad they didn't give that bum a big money deal. Actually Corey Williams is the best dlineman on the team.

I'd take a healthy Gerald McCoy over them both.

Gerald McCoy and healthy are two words that should never be said in the same sentence. If him, Clayborn and Bowers could all stay healthy, that line

This is another good point. Their entire coaching staff is ass. None of the schemes ever change and they don't adjust to shyt. The wide 9 is the worst defensive scheme in football.

Generally, DT's dont put up great numbers year in & out, and the great ones are often double teamed and then blocked by a RB should they get thru that.

Especially in a league now where so many teams operate out of the shotgun and throw quick passes. You dont have time to get thru a double team and get to the QB.

Now if Suh is NOT being double teamed(and I havent seen every Lion game admittedly), then that's a problem.

I thought he was gonna be a mainstay on that Bears defense for years Is he even in the league now?
