Either way the thread could give way to meaningful discussion such as: "why did Marvel decide to go this route?" I know female heroship is selling like hot cakes (that Supergirl mess is still running), but Captain Marvel though? Really? Rogue from X-men is more interesting.

You’re obviously a fan of Marve’s Cosmic books. What are your thoughts on the “cosmic” visuals of movies like this, GOTG and Infinity War? I feel like it’s too grounded looking if that makes sense. Maybe I’m spoiled after so many visually stunning movies from the 2000s to now.

Actually, outside of F4 And SS, I'm more a fan of the earthly heroes.
I think this in particular looks grounded because 1) They're not going to put their best stuff in the first trailer when the movie comes out six months from now and 2) The plot of the movie is centered around the Skrull/Kree war being brought to Earth.

Nah fam, it's my fault. I came in tripping while you were out here venting on the coli's shortcomings. I just interjected based on my personal beef with Carol Denvers and Super girl while you were calling out the immaturity in the forum.
I understand it would've been a way different exchange if I had come in correct. And as Calanthe would say: Apologies for the form of my argument, but the content remains unchanged.
