Also I don't know about you guys but when I was high school and jr high going to house parties, no way I would be caught in my fresh sneakers. You know how many times your feet will get stepped on from dancing with girls and in crowds. I always kept me a pair of beaters or black shoes specifically for parties.

exactly.. i been to some party's on both sides of the table back in high school and what should have been college years

you either got a bunch of ratchet nikkas, scheming on stealing shyt, not giving a fukk while they break shyt, don't care who's house it is cause they bout to jump this nikka, fukk that bytch lets throw a drink on her... etc etc

or my fav type of party... respectable black folk, cleaning up after themselves, having tubs full of drinks and nobody trying to hog the bottles, ladies standing around being nice and open or dancing all night, no fights, no problems, please smoke weed on the back porch... etc etc


just depends on your crowd..

shyt i can't even say even now... i went to this jamaican party and they was all nurses and doctors.. it was heaven.. free top shelf liquor, food, music, everybody in suits and dresses...

i mean i hollered at dude's wife.. didn't even know she was married cause she was so friendly.. she says "he's right behind you" he was so cool he just laughed and shook my hand and chopped it up and then walked off with his wife.. i didn't even know anyone there!!! all over 30

at the same time let that shyt happen with the wrong nikkas i knew for 15 years and we might be fighting and breaking tables and nobody offering to pay for that shyt

Maybe you didn't know, but there used to be House parties and fights wouldn't break out
And I have no idea where House Party took place, it looked like the suburbs filled with naggaz
But there whole style was more New Yorkin even tho it looked like they was living in Cali

New York and House Parties was what it was back in the early 80's, 70's/etc
This movie was a spinoff from those time periods in a way. Like, it was the last hurrah for house parties
If this movie never came out, a lot of people would have no idea what REAL house parties was like.

And on the low...Bilal had to have some game, ol girl in the lime green kept fronting him off, but she was dancing with the nikka twice, the 2nd time she wasn't blowing no bubbles in his face...
