Halo used to run shyt til COD came thru and crushed the buildings starting with COD4... Halo 2 still might be the goat game tho..

We have that with close quarter maps. Halo tries to have large scale battles with their larger maps but it really falls flat compared to battlefield.

Yea, who needs the realism of destruction in their games. This may be the last gen you game, friend. Physics are improving with each new hardware release. Next thing you know, halo will have destructible environments. Will you complain?

I don't like arguing about video games and fanboy bs but I couldn't help but post. Battlefield 3 is one of those games that's great in theory but in practice it's fukking horrible. I had way more fun with Bad Company 2 (which had 100% environmental destruction).

There are so many minor issues in BF3 that add up and, in turn, deter the overall experience. Problems include: overused bloom effect, imbalanced classes (recon is useless), terrible maps for rush, shoddy hit detection (the biggest problem imo), long movement animations that leave you vulnerable (jumping over a railing, proning and standing up), etc. It's no wonder that the gaming population fell significantly.

Oh and I'm not a CoD fanboy. I think CoD sucks too (I only play MW2/BLOPS with friends to demolition spawn trap). I wish today's shooting games went back to the Unreal Tournament formula (real fast-paced arena shooters not the slow 'realistic' shyt of Halo).

Killzone 2 is a great game and I been fukkin wit FPS's since the 90s and it was honestly one of the few of em that came out this gen that didnt bore the shyt out of me...and the fans even fukked that up by making them patch the controls cause muhfukkas want everything to play like COD... if there is a list of the best FPS console games this gen..Killzone DESERVES to be on that list...period...and I do agree with u on the arena shooters/unreal tournament shyt...
