Bay Area mobb shyt got a significant following in all of the above, San Diego too. The Bay is culturally insular but not insular in the way people on this thread are talking.

In the rest of the country though (especially the South) if they follow the Bay at all it's generally the usual suspects (Short, E-40, etc).
