There ain't nothin like cooking for yourself so talk about the type of foods yall make to aid the fitness process. I was plottin on a new pasta sauce with 4 different meats and a couple different veggies to pair with some grilled parmasan chicken. Yall ever mix pink salmon in yall tuna sandwich mixes? I throw that shyt with some tuna, mix it with chopped jalapenos, ketchup, mayo/miracle whip, a little mustard, black pepper, and himalayan salt.

I'll throw more recipes of my own shyt, cooking is a great first step to gettin in shape and being healthy.

Hooked up a decent breakfast, i'll drop the oatmeal I made when I get off but one of the other move was grilled peanut/almond butter and jelly sammiches with banana in the middle. Same concept as a grilled cheese, I just grill each slice of bread one by one and break two bananas in half and put it all together.

I'm really just gettin started with cooking so some of my dishes might be basic but I'll drop better dishes when I got time. TBH, I wanna see what yall drop cuz I know yall got some mean dishes in the cut, they'd be a welcome sight for your fellow fitness brehs.

Blend sliced too-ripe bananas, peanut butter and vanilla protein powder. Throw it in the freezer for an hour. :ahh:

I make some sort of DIY stir-fry that I'll eat for the week every sunday. onions, peppers, garlic, squash, chicken, black pepper sauce, and sambal oelek this week.

:wtf: is sambal oelek? Sound like some Indian shyt. I just had squash the other week at my job, it was some spaghetti squash it was pretty fukkin good I ain't know squash got down like that.

I like to get loose when it comes to fried rice I throw all types of shyt in it. I usually use either Jasmine or Basmati, dark and regular soy sauce for flavor, chopped ginger/garlic/sometimes thai basil, baby corns, cilantro, himalayan salt, black/red pepper, chicken & shrimp, mushrooms, a couple dashes of cinnamon, 1/4 of that big frozen california blend pack, broccoli, and a bunch of different colored bell peppers just to stunt for the bytches.

If you really wanna fukk nikkaz heads up take an orange and grate it over the finished product and it gets a nice ass orange aftertaste like orange chicken. Same shyt with lemons and limes.

Get yourself a crock-pot brehs. This will save you time and energy in the kitchen. Recipes for 8 hours to low as 3 hours. This way you can step out for the day and come home to a good meal.

Go to work for eight hours and come back to food. Start it when you hit the gym and come back home to food. Really efficient.

Tomato sauce, green/red peppers, garlic, onions, rice, tilapia and fresh wild caught shrimp.

Yeah that might be the move right there, look like I could make some mean brown stew chicken in that joint. I might have to hit up Macy's to catch a sale on one of these.

nikkas complain about not enough protein

HEre is a simple + tasty recipe I bet most of you braes cant finish in one sitting

1lb boneless chicken thighs, fat cut off (not breasts, they are too dry)
1 1/2 cups Italian flavor bread crumbs
Water

Soak the chicken in the water and then coat it w/breadcrumbs (I use a little tupperware tub). Bake it at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, turn it over, bake it for another 8-10 minutes. Thats a good 80 grams right there. Wash it down w/a shake, thats your daily protein needs (if I get it all in one meal thats ~150-160g). Cheap too

IF shyt gets boring you can add some sauces... pasta sauce + parmesan, lemon butter, etc. etc.

For breakfast...

Can of black beans, drain, then put them shyts on the pot and heat with olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and a little heat (slap ya mama, or Tony Cachere), add chopped tomatoes and green onions. Let them cook for 10 min.

Cook some fried eggs, then add the above with some cheese.

Makes a nice, protein filled omelet that's delicious.

Drop some pasta recipes,

Pesto Pasta w/ Shrimp

You can buy the pesto that's already made or...

1 cup Basil
A piece of Garlic
About 1/2 to 3/4 cups of Olive Oil
Sprinkle as much parmesean cheese as you want, pine nuts are optional imo

Blend that shyt up in a blender and your pesto sauce is set

Cook whatever type of pasta you want, I usually cook ziti in this situation but spaghetti cool too. While your cooking your pasta, grab yourself a frying pan. Take the shrimp(If you go to Safeway, think the medium pack of shrimps on the seafood rack that's the amount you should go for) and have it on deck, heat your olive oil up at medium temp then throw them thangs in there, after moving the shrimp around the pan for a bit to get it all comfortable throw your seasoning on there. I usually put cilantro, Himalayan salt, a little Italian seasoning, black and red pepper, and a squeeze of lemon.

Once them shrimps is cooked and your pasta is ready grab another bigger pot and throw them in together and drown it in the pesto sauce you just made, mix em up real good so that everything gets coated in the pesto sauce, let it sit for like 15 minutes to let the juices marinate a bit and then throw some feta cheese and cherry tomatoes to give it more flavor and color and you in business. bytches gon goose. :cook:
