I bought this a couple months back, but my schedule has been so crazy I keep pushing back on finishing it. I'm like 45 pages in and the back story behind Pimp's life
I finished it a month ago or so. Really nice and informative read!Same I need to crack this open ....
Got this book and it’s prob my greatest hip hop possession.

'Tupac: Resurrection, 1971-1996' - Tupac "2Pac" Shakur
Afeni Shakur and his sister put this book together. It's actually the official accompaniment book to the film of the same name.
I brought the book in the end because it's worth it. The quality of the book and its contents is extensive 1:1.
I suggest you buy the real thing. 50 Cent has a book exactly like this of his childhood that came out around the same time.

I read pieces to weight, that got me back into my love of reading againFrom Pieces to Weight is top 5 Hip Hop books ever (#1 being Prodigy's) but 50 tells the truth about his upbringing. It was and is as rough of a start in life as it gets.
Gawdfather must suffer from PTSD or something severe because his childhood is fukked up.
50th Law is essentially the 48 Laws of Power but written with and from the aspect of 50's life to appeal to black people and specifically young black men. It's an uplifting book. I'd say this is also a top #10-#15 book for me.
You could pull so much inspiration from these two books alone.
Read From Pieces To Weight first.
50 has another autobiographical book called "50 x 50" that's almost just as good as "From Pieces To Weight" but more personal.
It's not on the Internet. You'll have to buy it off Amazon. It's cheap now.I read pieces to weight, that got me back into my love of reading again
