Anybody knows any good books on hip hop history (including very beginning) on the west coast / in the south?

edit for the west coast: besides "original gangsters" by Ben Westhoff and "six in the morning" by Daudi Abe, or those two are sufficient?

This book and especially the audiobook is gonna be another Interesting listen. But I hope the chronological order will be better this time. My Infamous Life was all over the place.

It's that bad?
Maybe good for 2001 when the book came out, but that was almost 15 years ago. DJ Vladmir Putin has had artists from Death Row talk about their stay there. There's a guy on YouTube called JMIX and he does interviews with artists close to 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. He asks questions that you actually wouldn't have thought of or even knew the alleged answers to.
