In 2010 Director Martin Campbell confirmed the possibility of a Green Lantern trilogy,[95] and in June of that year Warner Bros. hired Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, all of whom worked on the Green Lantern screenplay, to write a treatment for the second installment.[96] In August 2010, they retained Michael Goldenberg to write the screenplay, based on the sequel treatment.[97] A scene in the film's end credits implying a resurgence of the yellow power of "fear" strongly suggests a planned sequel. After Green Lantern was released a trade account reaffirmed that Warner Bros., although "somewhat disappointed" with the opening-week box office of the film, still intended to move forward with a sequel.[98] In September 2011, the Associated Press reported that Warner Bros., dismayed by disappointing receipts was considering abandoning plans for a sequel.[99] However at the October 2011 New York Comic Con Geoff Johns, chief creative officer at Warner Bros.' DC Entertainment, stated that "There is the hope" that a Green Lantern sequel will still be produced and that, "It will be live-action again — I guarantee."[100] Ryan Reynolds is reportedly expected to reprise his role in the upcoming Justice League film.[101][102] In April 2013, the studio are eyeing Joseph Kosinski to direct the sequel.[103] That same month, David S. Goyer revealed that he would love to work on the sequel.[104]

Drop the Green Lantern Sequel, Man of Steele Sequel, Batman reboot (introduce Wonder Woman/Flash in either the Green Lantern,Batman or Superman sequel) and lets get this ball rolling for Darkseid to make an appearance for the JL film.

With the release of the Man of Steel coming soon, and recent the head of WB movies, Jeff Robinov, stating that news about their DC characters would be announced soon, it looks as if information is starting to trickle out of Warner Bros.

Our DC Entertainment source contacted us about updates following the Justice League Movie.

The source notes this is the plan at the moment, but we'll have to see what develops.

• If the Justice League movie becomes a worldwide hit, then expect production on The Flash, Green Lantern 2, Wonder Woman and The Batman to speed up 100 fold.

• Darren Aronofsky is still touted within WB's halls for the Batman reboot.

• Joseph Kosinski is apparently the no. 1 choice for a second Green Lantern film with his work on Tron: Legacy the key factor and his expertise with CGI.

• The plan is still for 2016 to host Justice League.

• 2017 is a "World's Finest" year of Man of Steel 2 and The Batman.

• Expect movies every year after Justice League.

Update:

• Source says Zack Snyder not directing Justice League, he will be back for second installment of Man of Steel in 2017, but may be producing Justice League.

• David Goyer looks to be writing up a treatment for Justice League.

Flash has the best DC rogue's gallery outside of Master Breezy. (story wise) I never like the idea or a GL on the JLA. Makes the team overpowered and it forces the creators to gimp the powerhouses like Superman even more. Since they already gave Superman faux daddy issues imagine what they gonna do to da Gawd who has real emotional problems

They don't need a movie for every character .....the trailers could do a quick recap of the characters and their powers. They just need to add cyborg as opposed to Martian man hunter and use him or flash as the rookie eyes we view the team through. A batman and superman combo will get everyone In the theatre easy
