What did think of it once it was announced?

What was y'all reaction of the first episode? :russ:

I remember watching RAW seeing HBK & Taker, then switching to TNA to see a goofy Abyss coming out to Hogan's WCW theme :mjlol:

I remember being somewhat exited for the move:ehh:. I knew it was suicide, but holy shyt it was worse than that:dwillhuh:. Corny summed up everything bad about that move to the tee...

Not only did WWE killed that shyt instantly, but did a Raw draft for shyts and giggles the following Monday:damn:.

Total Nonstop shyt has always had an over-bloated sense of self-importance and this little skirmish of theirs was a prime example. They had some buzz going into it, got a decent rating that first night, but they exposed themselves (again) as bush league on the first night and had idiots running the place and writing the show (as they always do). One of the worst times in their history.

Pretty much. Imagine if they would have pulled the trigger during the 2005-09 years:banderas:. Kurt Angle arriving to the Impact Zone and that friggin pop:krs:.
No I mean they waited way too long from 1/04 episode, they didn't go to mondays until like 2 months later. By then all hype had died.
