Yup. Pimp C was easily one of the best MC's to ever grace the mic. If he was from NY he would be legendary worldwide. People are waking up to him now though. Sadly it happened to late.

If MCs listened to Pimp C earlier, hiphop would definitely be much better off.

Listening to old pimp c makes me hate Big Krit a bit for biting his flow so much though.

Naah it's just just like how nikkas tried to say Shyne, Gravy & Guerrilla Black was "the new Biggie" just 'cause they all had a husky voice but we all know the difference.. KRIT is in his own ane and Pimp took that era of the game with him when he passed

on the shortlist of my favorite hip hop songs ever, got every line memorized like its still 06 or 07 :banderas:

forget the dope willie hutch flip, the incredible andre verse, the best thing about this song is every single artist is so unapologetic in their style and it still fits the theme perfectly

sidenote: bun b was significantly better when pimp was around like he had some shyt to prove on them records. whenever pimp was locked up or after he passed (RIP) dude has been a shell kicking the same shyt again and again
