Eli & Archie knew what they were doing by refusing to do business with San Diego. Philip Rivers should have a SB by now but they surround him with shyt talent and a garbage coaching staff. :noah:

Philip Rivers is my dude too. :shaq2:

:rudy: shyt talent ?? Naw playboy shyt coaching sure it's norv turner . But talent Vjax , lt , gates sproles ?? :usure: lights out merriman :wtb: they mostly underperformed. Jammer vs the pats :lolbron: classic lt and rivers both being Hurt in playoffs :russ: not to mention they got a arrogant a$$hole running the team

most of 2004 QBs became this good because they got drafted by teams who had decent situation and surroundings that allowed for positive QB growth

rivers came into a good offense with LT and a perennial contender (although a chronic underachiever as well)
ben came to a team that had great D over the span of many years and had a strong run game
eli prolly had the most to overcome out of that draft. and even then wasnt like giants were a shytty team...that loser tiki was going off in the run game

This is the best breakdown of the 2004 situations . And the Steelers giants seem to draft better than the chargers

:aicmon: The coaching staff may be one thing but shyt talent really? Antonio gates and LT>>>>ANy player Eli's ever played with I can also throw in Michael Turner and Darren Sproles, those Charges teams just didnt get it done when they had to. Matter of fact you can even make n argument for the coaching lets not forget how close Tom Coughlin has been to getting axed and how his players dont like him and all that other ish.

The thing is Rivers might have had got it done the year Marlon Mccree cost them that Pats game during LT's record season.

Bad drafting hurt that team, Buster Davis and a host of blown defensive players. People forget too Rivers during some of the play-off runs had the some of the worst defenses and special teams in the league as well as injuries.

I know I might be said to be reaching, but we are in the era of the qb. nikkas don't even realize that they are witnessing history. No other era had this many good qb's and we have arguably the best 2 ever. Brady, the best playoff qb ever(argue montana) and peyton the best regular season qb ever(argue marino)

Big Ben is so overrated.
:snoop:
Breh, I don't feel like putting serious effort into shytting on anyone this morning, so imma just tell you to go to This site & look at the year by year stats. Don't give me that good defense shyt, it's offensive stats. Then I want you to compare it to any qb not named Manning, Rodgers, Brady or Brees. Then come back and honestly explain to me how he isnt top six(5 or 6).:comeon:

I feel bad for the dude Rivers. I know it fukks with him, seeing that Eli & Ben came in with him & aren't as good as him (IMO) but, have 2 rings a piece :sadcam:

As a Bills fan, lemme shed some light on J.P. Loss Man.

Dude never got a fair chance with the Bills. He started for 1 year and actually had decent numbers. Especially when you consider he only had one weapon (Lee Evans). But he used him well, as Evans had a career year that year.

The next year, new coaching staff came in and were never committed to him. He got hurt and the Bills fell in love with that bum Trent Edwards.

That pretty much summed up his career. Sure he didn't do anything anywhere else but damn the Bills shat on their young QB for no reason at all and probably destroyed his confidence in the process.
